What to watch in OBS stats

Skipped frames (encoding lag)
Rendering lag
In-game FPS dips while streaming

If those rise when switching from Bicubic to Lanczos, your answer is clear: the heavier filter is costing too much for your current setup.

Fast test process

Run your normal game/scene with Bicubic for 10 minutes.
Switch to Lanczos and repeat same test.
Keep the one with stable frame pacing and no meaningful quality loss.
