Retention is rarely one big fix. It is a checklist discipline: clear hook, clean audio, faster pacing, and one reason to come back tomorrow.
Before stream checklist
- Title promises one clear outcome.
- Mic level tested and noise controlled.
- First 3 minutes planned (no dead start).
- One segment viewers can anticipate.
During stream checklist

- Avoid long silent menus and alt-tab time.
- Ask one simple chat question per segment.
- Cut overlays that block gameplay and face.

- Clip one highlight and post within 24h.
- Post one follow-up question in Discord.
